Bruce Clay, President
Bruce started Bruce Clay, Inc. in 1996 as one-man SEO consulting venture and it quickly took off from there. Long considered a thought-leader in the industry, Bruce is known for his insights into industry trends and his successful SEO methodology and training program. You can often catch him at Internet marketing trade show events, such as Search Engine Strategies and Search Marketing Expo, where he is a frequent speaker.
Aaron Landerkin, IT Manager
Aaron started with the company in 2003 as an SEO analyst before transitioning into the IT and development department. He holds a degree in computer science and computational mathematics and worked as a freelance programmer before joining Bruce Clay, Inc. Aaron is currently in charge of developing and improving SEO tools for the company.
Bradley Leese, Senior SEO Analyst
Bradley’s previous experience as a Web developer and graphic designer underscores his interests in Web usability. He joined the company in 2003 and now specializes in optimizing sites for high-profile clients and high sales conversions.
Maryann Robbins, Senior SEO Analyst
Maryann has been with the company since 2003. Before that she worked in Web site development. Maryann graduated from Ohio State University with a B.S. in aeronautical and astronautical engineering and received an M.S. in information technology from American InterContinental University. She is also a Shorinjiryu Karate black belt.
Michael Terry, Programmer
Michael has SEO in his blood, like his father, and his father before him. Michael writes software for Bruce Clay. He has won several threads on Reddit and, despite being only 5′11″, can easily dunk a basketball on a regulation rim.
Robert Esparza, Vice President, Operations
Robert joined Bruce Clay, Inc. in 2003 as an SEO analyst. He now oversees SEO and SEM projects and day-to-day operations of the company. Prior to working for the company he worked as a drafter at an architecture firm, where he perfected his excellent penmanship.
Scott Polk, Senior SEO Analyst
Scott has more than 11 years of experience as a Web developer and spent several years as an in-house SEO and SEO consultant before joining Bruce Clay, Inc. He is a frequent speaker at Internet and affiliate marketing conferences such as PubCon and Affiliate Summit.
Susan Esparza, Senior Editor
Susan joined the company in 2004 and now manages the company’s Content and Media Creation department. She heads the publication of Bruce Clay, Inc.’s monthly SEO Newsletter and also specializes in Web site content optimization.
Virginia Nussey, Media Writer
Virginia writes the Bruce Clay, Inc. blog and is a regular host and interviewer on SEM Synergy. Her background is in news reporting and online media. While she’s a novice in the Internet marketing field, she is learning lots as she gets to speak to many great minds of the industry.
